Peran Mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna Volunteer pada Distribusi Peralatan Pertandingan Untuk Cabor Esports pada PON di Sumut 2024: Pengabdian Masyarakat

Objectives: Menganalisis peran dan kontribusi mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna sebagai volunteer dalam mendukung distribusi peralatan pertandingan cabang olahraga esports pada Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI di Sumatera Utara tahun 2024, serta mengukur dampak pengabdian masyarakat terhadap pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa dan kelancaran penyelenggaraan event olahraga nasional.
Methods: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-kuantitatif dengan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara terstruktur, dan analisis dokumentasi. Sebanyak 45 mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna terlibat sebagai volunteer dalam periode 15-30 September 2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pre-post kegiatan, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan stakeholder terkait.
Results: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berhasil mendistribusikan 100% peralatan esports (320 unit gaming setup, 1.200 peripheral gaming, dan 80 unit server) tepat waktu ke 8 venue pertandingan. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam event management (85%), teamwork (92%), dan problem-solving (78%). Tingkat kepuasan penyelenggara mencapai 94% terhadap kinerja volunteer.
Conclusion: Program volunteer mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendukung kesuksesan PON 2024 cabor esports, sekaligus meningkatkan soft skills dan pengalaman praktis mahasiswa dalam pengelolaan event olahraga berskala nasional. Model pengabdian ini dapat direplikasi untuk event olahraga lainnya
